Magenta House is a gathering and knowledge-sharing space nestled inside a re-envisioned domestic home in Gadigal/Sydney, Australia. We stage projects and occurences that explore the synergies between art, food, communing, and experimental practices. Particularly, we digest the ways that creative hospitality, co-learning, and intimate assemblies can embolden our ways of navigating and caring for the wider world together. In this spirit, we self-organise and partner with kindreds to host workshops, supper clubs, communal meals, test kitchens, dialogues, soirées, library sessions, and more. Alongside this, we run an arts Library and a Shop focusing on food cultures, heritage ventures and independent publishing within Asia and Australia. Visiting hours are by appointment and during events and open days.
