Konnect
Event description
Join Brisbane based Family Counselling Support Networks former educator, Deputy Principal and Registered Psychologist, Sherry Bell and Counsellor, Susan Crain, as they host another Konnect workshop in Queensland.
As part of their overarching, Ready to Thrive Program, Sherry and Susan host the very popular Konnect workshops.
For most of us, we live extremely busy lives. Whether we are parenting alone, co-parenting, have numerous children, work long hours, work in a fly in, fly out role, a carer, heavily distracted with concerns......it can be so challenging to find time to slow down and truly connect with our children. To really hear and see them, especially on a one-on-one basis. Our clients contact us each term requesting details of these holiday workshops, especially just prior to school return.
Our workshops allow you precious time with your child, to stop, not be interrupted, listen, chat, engage in meaningful activities and explore ways that enable you to continue connecting in the future. These workshops always mean a lot to the children and we know it helps fill parents cup too.
Come along for a fun-filled morning. This event will be a level 1 activity (ie very minimal physical activity). It will commence outside(weather permitting) but return to the comforts of airconditioning before it gets too warm.
It is ideally pitched at children who are in school grades 1-5, with their parent or carer.
