KonnectFEST - NDIS Networking Sydney Campbelltown

Hi, I am Karen Lorenzon, the Pink-Haired Networker. I am a mother to a wonderful and emotionally charged son named John. The boy I love so much is 9 years old, is autistic, and has ADHD. He is the centre of my world, along with my loving Greek/Italian husband, and our dog, Pegasus the mini-fox terrier.

In my 20+ years of professional experience, I have worked in Community Engagement, Business Development, Employment Consultant, Disability Employment Consultant, Marketing, and many more. I own two successful businesses: Support Warrior Marketing, which supports providers with Positive Brand Awareness, and Your Konnections, which is part of KonnectFEST.

In the end, I decided to leave it all behind and become an independent support worker specializing mainly in employment, social and community engagement. Although I enjoyed my time with the NDIS and support work, I missed connecting and talking with others. I felt the industry had become competitive, and so I decided to create a network of providers who can help one another and debunk the myth that it must be competitive. In October 2021, I founded KonnectFEST, formerly known as the Be Noticed and Get Connected - Positive Disability Network. You can see why I changed it, it's a mouthful. Since last year, I wanted to expand this business and instead of hosting smaller events, let's hold larger events Australia-wide to give providers of all sizes the opportunity to connect and get noticed. Today, there are over 2K active members across Australia.

KonnectFEST event is all about Konnecting with people who work in the NDIS space. You can be a SOLE TRADER, SMALL, MEDIUM or LARGE Provider Registered or Unregistered in the space!! 

At our events, we don’t have booths or banners. I want the sponsor's voice and story to speak for themselves. We have multiple speakers and lots of time for networking and connecting buildings. Attendees will be connected to CEOs, Founders, Business Development Managers and many more people within the NDIS space from a wide variety of NDIS businesses from Allied Health specialists, Support Coordinators, Support Workers, Gardeners, Cleaners, Plan Managers, Art Therapists and so many more.
