Konstantin Shamray and David Giffiths

A recital shaped by brilliance, balance, and bold musical intellect

Two master musicians come together for a recital defined by clarity, authority, and refined expressive range. Pianist Konstantin Shamray brings a commanding presence to the stage, pairing architectural strength with finely tuned nuance, while clarinettist David Griffiths offers a sound of remarkable poise—fluid, focused, and endlessly articulate.

The program unfolds as a dialogue rather than a display, where momentum, colour, and structure are shaped with deliberate intent. Shamray’s fearless command of the keyboard anchors the performance with authority, while Griffiths’ refined tonal palette threads elegance and agility through every phrase. Together, they craft interpretations that feel considered yet immediate, polished yet alive.

This is chamber music at its most compelling: intellectually sharp, technically assured, and propelled by musicians who understand how to balance restraint with intensity. Expect a performance of substance, confidence, and unmistakable artistic stature.
