Kooii and Tommy Sexton at It's Still a Secret

Kooii comes together with Tommy Sexton to generate a pocket of abundant good groove, good times and good company at It's Still a Secret on Sunday April 30th.

Kooii take another into a new phase for the group and take the opportunity to connect with Brisbane crew and settle and expand with their groove and song.  The gig shall feature the return of Lachlan Mitchell to the band’s line-up, joining Peter Hunt, Tom Hinchliffe, Charles Wall and Linden Lester.

Bringing a sense of intrigue and excitement to the program, is the opening by Tommy Sexton. It shall be a debut performance for the group and a welcoming into the world of Tom’s songwriting and leading a group. After many years fulfilling the role as a bass player with his exceptional feel and understanding benefitting many groups, including Kooii, Tom steps into the role of songwriter and band leader bringing his distinct imagination and intelligence to the light for us all to experience and get down to. The wonderful constellation of musicians that have come together in the group includes Hannah Macklin, Peter G, Trav Jenkins and Sam Castan.
