Event description

This informative workshop is developed and facilitated by Jessica Staines, a Wiradjuri woman who is an early childhood teacher, professional speaker, author, advocate and advisor and who is committed to helping educators embed Aboriginal perspectives into early childhood education.

Jessica has played many significant roles nationally and internationally in building cultural understanding, reconciliation and harmony, including as an Indigenous advisor to ABC’s Playschool.  She has designed this workshop to enhance early childhood educators’ curriculum with Aboriginal perspectives and pedagogies.

Join us to:

  • Plan inclusively and thoughtfully integrate Aboriginal perspectives into your curriculum
  • Delve into the rich realm of Aboriginal pedagogies
  • Craft meaningful reconciliation commitment statements
