Description

Join us for a conversation with one of the most prolific and well-known literary translators of our time.

Few have done as much for Korean literature in the Anglophone world as Anton Hur. With a publication list that includes more than twenty books, he is the translator behind a host of best-selling, critically acclaimed Korean titles. In this special Book Club, Anton joins Aditi Dubey to discuss Love in the Big City by Sang Young Park, which was longlisted for the International Booker Prize, and Capitalists Must Starve by Park Seolyeon, one of his most recent translations, along with the rest of his extensive body of work, his insightful thoughts on translation, and his many opinions on publishing.
