Event description

KOSER is a high-energy 5-piece alternative rock band from Philadelphia. The supergroup meshes the powerful contralto vocals of K. Koser with a heap of instruments– guitar, bass, saxophone, keyboard, synth, percussion, drums, and more! KOSER pairs well with the soul of Lawrence and Amy Winehouse, and yet-- the grit of Nirvana and Paramore.

Madisun Bailey, a 22-year-old singer-songwriter from Baltimore, Maryland, cultivates a distinctive style of funk, r&b, and pop influenced by many artists such as, Erykah Badu, Lianne La Havas, Willow Smith, Radiohead, and Billie Eilish. Her guitar technique and lyrical prowess are central to her artistry. As of recently, Madisun has been honored with the reputable Rammie award from Rams Head On Stage for "Annapolis Songwriters Festival Showcase
Songwriter of the Year (Local)", standing out among several other talented artists.

KAT RIVERS AND THE SECOND SIGHT is a Philadelphia-based blues rock band known for their show-stopping live performances, powerhouse vocals, and tight musicianship. Led by front woman Kat Rivers and featuring Ric Haas (guitar), Ava Esrich (bass), and Bob Bradford (drums), their music showcases the jaw-dropping range of Rivers' vocal style while incorporating the raw rock and roll edge of the Second Sight. Their music has invoked comparisons to Led Zeppelin, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, and Heart.

Shortly after the marking of the band's 1st anniversary, Kat Rivers and the Second Sight released their debut 4-song EP, "Deception". The EP asserts the band's blues rock sound while incorporating influences of funk, jazz, country, and even metal in their original songs "Broken Promised Land", "Smooth Talkin'", "When You Meet the Devil", and "Private Showing".
