Community Planting Day at Kergunyah Reserve

Event description

COMMUNITY PLANTIND DAY ~ KERGUNYAH

Kergunyah Landcare invites you to join us for a morning of planting and mulching along the Kiewa River at the Kergunyah Streamside Reserve. Help us recreate and restore the native, riparian vegetation and habitat along this beautiful stretch of the Kiewa River at Kergunyah. This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the outdoors with your family and local community, learn about some of the plants native to our area, make a positive impact on our local environment and have fun!

So, join us in supporting biodiversity, protecting our soils, enhancing our water quality and be a part of a bigger project to create a healthier, connected landscape.

Everyone is welcome! We will be hosting a BBQ lunch for all those attending.

No prior experience is necessary, and all ages are welcome to participate. We will provide all the necessary tools and equipment and take you through the process of planting. Just come dressed in comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and bring a water bottle and gloves.
