KPU International: Bouldering (19+)

EVENT ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY POLICY:

• Student must be 19 yeas old or above to join the event (19+)

• Present the following 2 pieces of valid, non-expired identification at the check-in:

  • KPU Student ID

  • Government-issued ID

• You must sign both the provider’s digital waiver and KPU’s physical waiver before the activity

• Student must arrive on time, no later than 12:30PM. Latecomers will not be allowed to join the activity.

EVENT DESCRIPTION AND WHAT TO BRING:

Join KPU for a fun day of bouldering!

Bouldering is an indoor climbing activity on walls up to 15 feet high. There are no harnesses or ropes—just soft mats for safety. It’s easy to try and a lot of fun, whether you go alone or with a group.

All you need are comfortable sport clothing and climbing shoes (KPU International will cover rental of climbing shoes for the day) and chalk (gym can provide some on the day of).

Bouldering is great exercise and also challenges your brain. You’ll work on problem-solving, upper body strength, grip, and footwork.

KPU international students get a special discounted rate of $8 (plus applicable taxes) for the day, when regular price per visit is usually about $20-30 per person, not including shoe rental
