Featuring

CJ STRANGER

CJ Stranger combines old school Australian storytelling with indie-rock grit and a constantly adventurous guitar style. He’ll draw you in with humorous comments on the absurdities of everyday life before making you feel like you’re the main character in an old folk-tale of woe. His unique guitar playing has been widely recognised having worked with renowned Australian artists including William Crighton, John Schumann (Redgum), Middle Kids, Lisa McCune, Melody Pool, Coda Chroma, Angie Who as well as performing onstage in theatre productions such as ‘Girl from the North Country’ (Bob Dylan). His 2020 album ‘Hey Stranger’ receive critical acclaim and widespread airplay across the country including Triple J and Double J. Listeners have often spotted influences such as Paul Kelly, Kurt Vile and Bob Dylan in CJ’s songs combined with a guitar sound landing somewhere between Ry Cooder and J. Mascis. CJ (the alter ego of Cameron Henderson) lives on Darug Country, Blue Mountains, Australia.

THE GRAND PRICKS

Newcastle’s most dangerous country boogie band! Fronted by local songsmith Lachlan Morris (Lachlan X. Morris, Ben Leece & LOTD, William John Jr) Grand Pricks is your new favourite truck stop for tongue-in-cheek, full throttle whiplash music.

The ever-reliable alchemy between Morris and drummer/producer wunderkind Fraser Marshall is front n centre, joined by the OG wildcard bass wrangler Ben Pittman… And introducing, the nitro-fuelled electric guitar stylings of Alex Ireland!

GOODFELLAS BAND

The Goodfellas band is made up of a group of terrific musicians who just love to play music together.
Each player a unique entity each carrying their own special story and bag of musical tricks to the Goodfellas stage. A gig with the fellas is always, exciting, colourful, funny, and entertaining, thoughtful, fast, slow and in between. It’s hard to pin a style on the band as there are way too many influences they draw from. Always keen to explore so it’s always a musical adventure.

This line up of talented separate entities combine, one by one to form this one colourful wall of sound and creative emotion. The energy, excellent musicianship and songwriting will captivate you and take you in all sorts of musical and emotional directions.

You will know you’ve been around musicians who have truly paid their dues in the industry, completely devoid of the “showbiz” agenda. It’s a love for music and friendship that formed this band.
The whole idea in the band and its naming was that you had to be a good fella, (guy or gal) to play in the line-up. Always a great recipe for great music if that’s the ticket in they say.

BOBIN MAINTENANCE CREW

Bobin Maintenance Crew is a fusion of rock, alt pop, bit of soul and even country vibes , derived from their shed at Bobin. Their music is influenced by each members unique taste of indie, punk, rock and electronic music reverberating around the tin and wood shack they were created in. Their lyrics are heavily influenced by the 2019 bushfires that ravaged the east of Australia and highlight our love of nature and fears of environmental degradation.

JIM BIRD TRIO

Manning Valley locals Jim Bird, Scott Greenaway and Mick Eyb make up the Jim Bird Trio, a country/blues band bringing you original music along with some choice borrowed tunes.
