Krampusnacht: Make a Felted Krampus Ornament with Robyn
Description
Krampusnacht or Krampus Night is a festive event happening on the 5th of December across Austria, Germany and Northern Italy.
The Krampus is a half-goat, half-demon who would punish naughty children taking them away in his sack or beating them with sticks, while Saint Nicholas would bring them presents and candy.
Some traditions include the Krampuslauf or run where people wear carved wooden masks, heavy furs, and clanking chains and run around pursuing villagers.
Join us and discover more about this tradition while making a cute mini Krampus to take home.
All materials included, just come and have fun!
