Event description
Experience the ineffable energy of the Manhattons as they present the final concert of the inaugural Faversham Fringe. The sum is definitely greater than the sum of its parts when these master musicians take the stage.
The Manhattons' recipe for the perfect afternoon of jazz:
- Take 1 cup of Trad Jazz
- Blend with 1/2 a cup of Contemporary Jazz
- Stir in 1 tbs of original arrangements and compositions
- And garnish with a touch of Hot Swing
Phil Hatton (clarinet, saxophone) leads this stellar lineup, including Benn Hodgkin (trumpet, flugelhorn), Kim Anning (guitar, banjo, vocals), Tony Celiberti (piano), Manoli Vouyoucalos (double bass), and William Wallace (drums).
Ticket price includes gourmet sandwich selection. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar before the performance and during intermission.
The performance was originally planned for the terrace and lawn but has been relocated to the Ballroom because we are not sure we can trust the weather.
Ballroom doors open at 3:30 pm. Performance 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Please note that Faversham House is a non-smoking venue.
