KRIS MIZZI (Troubadour Award Winner) is a spellbinding performer inspired by 70’s folk singers, wowing audiences in Australia and America with killer songs and a spaciousness and grace in his delivery. A festival favourite, Mizzi joins Mandy from the other side of Melbourne. He has been described by other musicians as having 'one of Australia's finest voices' leaving listeners feeling as though they have experienced something truly special. Poetic lyrics, meandering melodies and 'a voice which truly moves people', along with a unique picking style, Mizzi really is a complete artist and is becoming renowned for his intimate solo performances and thoughtful songs. throughout Australia.

MANDY CONNELL’s arresting presence is what stands out. Singer and guitarist, she is popular for her writing, and loved for her stagecraft, but it’s her breadth of passion for the broader ‘folk’ genre which makes her unusual in Australia. Connell has an edge more reminiscent of Margaret Roadknight or Norma Waterson than of Kate Bush or Joni Mitchell. A songwriter with a guitar, and with a passion for soft ballads offset by a love of blues and dance music, Mandy's stage patter and interests are varied, and as an artist her career is as diverse as her show is dynamic.
