Fresh from being announced as recipients of the Byron Kennedy Award, producers Kristina Ceyton and Samantha Jennings join AACTA Festival for an intimate conversation about creative courage and the producing instincts that have shaped modern Australian cinema. From Causeway Films’ breakthrough work on The Babadook and The Nightingale to the global phenomenon Talk to Me, and most recently Bring Her Back they’ll discuss how they champion bold voices, build internationally resonant projects, and take creative risks that pay off. Through candid stories and a focused conversation, this session offers a rare look inside two producers who continue to set the bar for Australian film on the world stage.
