Koh Samui Medical Meeting

MD Escapes is hosting a small-group medical update meeting in Anantara Lawana, Koh Samui, over 4 days, with topics of interest for all doctors (and other healthcare professionals), from July 6th (registration and meet and greet) to July 10th 2027.

Meeting Overview

This is a small group meeting of healthcare and medical specialists. It is hoped that attendees will use the conference to deliver an educational talk on their own area/s of special interest or experience, while being educated by their colleagues in other disciplines. Talks will be delivered on a topic relevant to everyday practice for sub specialists and general practitioners alike. Please be prepared to give a talk on a topic of interest as we do not have paid speakers.

A secondary aim is to allow speakers to gain experience in a safe and supportive environment, in an effort to improve the medical education experience for seniors, DiTs and medical students.

The final aim is to facilitate networking and self care. To this end we include evening networking sessions as an important part of our meeting timetable. Additionally the beautiful location of the venue and casual pace of the meeting allows time for participants to engage in mindfulness and recovery.

To keep registration costs down, talks will be held in a venue decided on the fly- usually a hotel room, beachside bar or at restaurant venues etc. Morning sessions are held as impromptu discussions over a lazy breakfast. Talks will be held at varying times each day, usually decided on a group chat or at the session the day prior, to allow attendees time to sample the wonderful facilities and location.

We aim for up to 16 hours of educational content over the 4 days (4hrs a day average).

Please note that base registration includes no meals nor accommodation or transport. Non medical parters do not need registration.

In the case of conference cancellation/insufficient numbers all registration types are refundable. We only need a minimum 8 signups, however (2 speakers per day for the afternoon session)
