KSS Centenary Long Lunch, presented by One Percent Property
100 Years in the Making
Kedron State School has been part of this community for 100 years - and it's time to celebrate in style.
The KSS Centenary Long Lunch, presented by One Percent Property, is a gorgeous, adults-only afternoon of great drinks, good music and even better company - held on the school campus under a styled marquee on Kedron Oval.
Think spring sunshine, shared tables dressed to impress, and a whole lot of northside community pride. If you're part of the current Kedron State School community, this one's for you.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Your ticket gets you more than just a seat - entry under our showstopper styled marquee, your spot at a long table dressed to impress, live entertainment running all afternoon, and full access to the bar. All that's left to sort is what's going on your plate.
FOOD
This one's a bring-your-own affair - so start deciding who's bringing what. Pack a picnic, raid the antipasto aisle, or go all out with a full spread. Get the group chat going with your table mates and start planning.
Prefer to skip the thinking altogether? Rosalie Gourmet Market has put together a Long Lunch menu just for us, which will be delivered straight to a collection point at the event.
Pre-order the Long Lunch Menu for groups of 8 or more, from $51 per head, or grab a Picnic Box for 2 from $65 directly through Rosalie Gourmet Market for delivery on the day.
DRINKS
Our Centenary Bar - proudly brought to you by Holistic Sports Physiotherapy - will be serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks throughout the day.
No BYO drinks permitted.
Adults only - yes, really! Start organising those babysitters now. And here's the bonus - even the booking fee does some good. Humanitix donates 100% of profits to charity, so every ticket works a little harder.
This event is exclusively for current KSS families and staff, as part of our centenary celebrations. If you're a past student or wider community member wanting to celebrate with us, keep an eye out for our Christmas Market on 20 November.
This Kedron State School Centenary Long Lunch is proudly supported by Lord Mayor’s Community Fund and Cr Adam Allan, Councillor for Northgate Ward.

The Long Lunch is a celebration for our current Kedron State School families and staff; a chance to come together as a school community for our centenary year. We'd love to welcome past students and the wider community at other events throughout the year, keep an eye on our socials for what's coming up.
- What's included in my ticket?
Your ticket gets you more than just a seat - entry under our showstopper styled marquee, your spot at a long table dressed to impress, live entertainment running all afternoon, and full access to the Centenary Bar, proudly brought to you by Holistic Sports Physiotherapy.
Each place setting comes with a plate, napkin, cutlery and shatterproof glassware - with thanks to our Community Champion, The Guitar Gym and SONO Music, for supplying our Centenary Glassware.
All that's left to sort is what's going on your plate.
- Is food available at the event?
This is a bring-your-own event - so pack a picnic, share the load with your table, or go all out.
If you'd rather skip the planning, Rosalie Gourmet Market has put together a Long Lunch menu just for us, which will be delivered straight to a collection point at the event.
Pre-order the Long Lunch Menu for groups of 8 or more, from $51 per head, or grab a Picnic Box for 2 from $65 directly through Rosalie Gourmet Market for delivery on the day.
- Can I BYO drinks?
No BYO drinks permitted.
Our Centenary Bar, proudly brought to you by Holistic Sports Physiotherapy, will be operating on the day with a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. - Is this event adults only?
Yes - strictly adults only. Arrange those babysitters now!
- Where is the event held?
The event is held on Kedron Oval, right on the school campus, under a styled marquee.
- Is seating allocated?
Yes, seating is allocated by table. Tickets are available as a table of 10, or as individual tickets.
Grab your crew and book together for a guaranteed group table - or grab a solo or small-group ticket and we'll do our best to seat you alongside familiar faces (though this isn't always guaranteed).
- How do I make sure I'm seated with my friends?
The easiest way is to book a full table together in one single purchase - this guarantees you'll all be seated as a group.
If you're buying separately, nominate one person as your Table Captain at checkout and make sure everyone in your group uses that same name on their order. This links your tickets so we can try to seat you together.
We'll always do our best to keep groups together, but with tables of 10 this isn't always possible (e.g. an odd-numbered group may need to split across two neighbouring tables).
We'll keep you as close together as we can.
- What is a Table Captain?
Your Table Captain links smaller bookings together so we can try to seat your group as one table. If you're not booking a full table in one go, nominate a Table Captain and make sure everyone in your group uses the same name at checkout.
Ideally, your Table Captain is the person booking the tickets. If it's someone else, just make sure their name is used consistently across your group's bookings.
They're also our one point of contact for your table. They'll receive any updates we send specifically to your group, like on-the-day logistics or weather planning, and they're responsible for passing these on to everyone else sitting with them.
- What happens if it rains?
Guest tables are under our large styled marquee, so you'll be covered rain or shine. Some areas - like the bar and entertainment zone - are open-air, so pack a light layer just in case the weather turns.
We'll communicate any weather-related updates closer to the date.
- Can I get a refund?
Refunds are available up to 14 days prior to the event. Booking fees are non-refundable as these go to support children's charities via Humanitix.
- Where does the money go?
This event is first and foremost a celebration of our centenary - any funds raised go towards covering the cost of putting on the day.
Beyond the Long Lunch, the P&C runs fundraising initiatives throughout the year that directly support Kedron State School and its students.
