The Kids Theatre Network returns to The Bornemann with the electrifying SIX: Teen Edition, the hit pop musical that reimagines the six wives of King Henry VIII as fierce pop icons. Packed with high-energy performances, catchy songs, and empowering storytelling, each queen steps into the spotlight to remix history and reclaim her story.

Lynne Broyles (Owner/Artistic  Director of KTN) a former professional singer, dancer, actress of stage, TV & film, moved to Los Angeles in 1993  to focus on her singing/acting career. Although Lynne has spent most of her life either on stage or behind the camera, her true passion is teaching youth. Lynne began teaching singing, acting, and tap dance at 17 years old in Northern California and she loves continuing to educate the youth in Southern California. Lynne is beyond proud of her alumni “making it” like Adam Lambert, Cameron Bond, AJ Ditty, Jacob Hays, Heather Kent, Courtnee Draper and others. Also, she is proud to say locally, many students have been leads in The Old Globe’s “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” playing the roles of Cindy Lou Who, Boo Who, Danny Who, Annie Who and Teen Who. Lynne studied voice with Elaine Reynolds and Dietrich Erbelding (San Francisco Opera) and Connie Lisec (North Bay Opera) and studied tap, jazz & ballet dance with Mason-Kahn Studio in San Francisco.

Valerie Salgado is a Choreographer, Educator, and Performer based in San Diego, CA. With an eclectic training background and experience in theater, television, and concert dance, Valerie brings a unique perspective to the creation process. Her passion for dance and leadership skills motivate and inspire those she works with. Choreographer credits include entertainment for Europa Park (Germany), Playland, and Dorney Park, Hairspray, Footloose, Off-Broadway's Helen on 86th Street and Transcendence Theater Company's This Magic Moment. As an Associate Choreographer, Valerie contributed to Season One of the Emmy award-winning series, Smash, the world premiere of Frozen on Disney Cruise Line, and the Off-Broadway premiere of Bunty Berman Presents. She collaborated with Broadway Choreographer, Josh Prince, to develop the curriculum for Dance Lab New York's Broadway Choreography Intensive. Valerie received her classical dance training under the direction of Philip and Chales Fuller in Pasadena, CA and her BA in Dance from the University of California, Irvine. She holds a Masters degree in Special Education with an Emphasis in Autism from San Diego State University and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and credentialed teacher at Children's Workshop. She is active in the San Diego dance and theatre scene and has choreographed for RBHS musicals, Encore Vocal Ensemble, and taught an array of dance genres at Dance & Company.
