FIRST NATIONS CAPITAL RUNWAY 2026

Where ancient culture meets contemporary fashion in the heart of the nation.

For one unforgettable evening, the iconic National Museum of Australia will be transformed into a spectacular celebration of First Nations culture, fashion and creative excellence.

First Nations Capital Runway will present an exceptional selection of collections from local and national First Nations designers — each artists and visionaries whose work carries stories of Country, identity, strength, healing and connection.

More than a runway, this is a complete cultural experience. Guests will be welcomed with drinks and canapés on arrival, followed by an inspiring evening of runway fashion, cultural performances, contemporary dance and live music.

Every collection carries meaning.

Every performance holds power.

Every moment celebrates the brilliance of First Nations creativity.

Proudly presented on Ngunnawal Country, this is an opportunity to witness First Nations fashion command the national stage within one of Australia’s most significant cultural institutions.
