Kunanyi Folk Club August

Kunanyi Folk Club is thrilled to host Luke Plumb & Peter Daffy: a duo who effortlessly mix experience, talent, musicality and wit.

Leaders in their respective fields in the realm of acoustic music, Daffy and Plumb have spent almost thirty years playing acoustic music together. Between Pete's guitar/vocals and witty lyrics, and Luke's amazing mandolin playing, these two are a magic combination.

Having first joined forces in 1998 they haven’t stopped playing music together since. From The Rare Auld Stock to Funky String Band Peter and Luke are often found hanging around in some form or other, so playing as a duo comes very easily. Like a good magician, the pair always has something interesting up their sleeve!

Individually Pete and Luke dabble in a number of collaborations in various genres; witness the fabulous amalgam of all those musical chops when they treat the Kunanyi Folk Club to "Luke Plumb and Peter Daffy"

As usual, the evening's melodic treats will begin with several floor spots.
