KV Youth - kayaking, cave walk and bushcraft
Event description
Join Mike (our local LOST Australia celebrity) from Kangaroo Valley Adventure Company for a day of kayaking, cave walking, and bushcraft skills.
Meet: Kangaroo Valley Showground Carpark 9amÂ
Bring: a packed lunch, snacks, and plenty of water to drink.
Wear: clothes suitable for paddling, plus bring a change of clothes for hiking in case you get wet in the canoes. Enclosed shoes for hiking are essential.
Return: 4pm Kangaroo Valley Showground Carpark.
The youth members will kayak for around 3 hours from 9-12am, then break for lunch. After lunch, there’ll be a hike to the caves and a lesson on bushcraft/survival skills. Bookings are essential!  Â
This event is for Shoalhaven residents aged 11-24 years and is made possible with the support of the Kangaroo Valley Lion's Club Inc. and funding from the NSW Department of Regional Youth.
