We are celebrating the launch of our new reading room!

Join the team and special guest, Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche, for an evening of masqueraded festivity!

The Khyentse Vision Project team has worked tirelessly over the past year to build our new reading room from scratch. We will be publishing 108 new translations of precious texts by Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo with a wealth of related material, as a way to pay homage to the Khyentse lineage and legacy. As Rinpoche will be giving some empowerments of Khyentse Wangpo's treasures, we thought it fitting to celebrate this important milestone for the project during Rinpoche's visit to Sydney.

The evening will include canape food, drinks, music, a presentation by the KVP team, and a special appearance by Rinpoche, and hopefully some dancing! Join us in Darling Harbour, overlooking the water, for a special night of celebrating all things Khyentse!

There will be a prize for the the person who best embodies the union of outrageousness and elegance with their creative masquerade costume!

Ticket price: $60 per person (free for ordained sangha)

Khyentse Vision Project is a non-profit initiative under the umbrella of Khyentse Foundation.

Our mission is to make the treasury of Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo’s writings widely accessible for a global community of practitioners and scholars by translating and publishing his works freely online. Our long-term aspiration is to become a translation hub for the teachings of the Khyentse lineage masters and to help bring their wisdom to life in new and creative way

The core writings of the nineteenth-century scholar and treasure revealer Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo include his Collected Works (Kabum) and Seven Transmissions (Kabab Dun)—totaling over 30,000 Tibetan pages. As one of the founders of the nonsectarian Rimé tradition, Khyentse Wangpo produced meditation instructions, philosophical treatises, songs, sādhanas, histories, treasure cycles, and pith instructions that represent all traditions of Tibetan Buddhism. The range of Khyentse Wangpo’s works represents both his vast scholarly knowledge and his vision of treasuring the many Vajrayāna lineages. This unbiased spirit is a hallmark of the teachings of the Khyentse masters that continue to be transmitted to the present day. The content of the collections sheds light on a vast range of topics relevant to both practitioners of Tibetan Buddhism and scholars of Tibetan history and culture. Khyentse Vision Project also provides translator training, creative initiatives, workshops, and online Dharma talks to help readers connect with Khyentse Wangpo’s wisdom.
