KY Silvopasture Fundamentals
Event description
Thank you for your interest in Agroforestry Trainings for Natural Resource Professionals. Here, you can register to attend the FREE Silvopasture Fundamentals training. This event will happen rain or shine! Lunch is included.
KERS credits have been applied for, pending approval. Please let the organizers know if additional professional credits are requested.
Silvopasture is the intentional integration of forages, trees, and livestock, and can help increase productivity and support health in farm and forest systems.
The increasing interest in silvopasture and other agroforestry practices among farmers, landowners, and land managers has produced a growing need for technical assistance. Join us and learn about the principles, design considerations, benefits, and potential challenges associated with silvopasture. Participants will leave better prepared to assist land managers with silvopasture adoption or expansion.
Seats are limited, please contact the event organizers with questions regarding registration availability. When registering, please select the ticket type that most closely matches your organizational affiliation (for example: Extension).
