Kyloring Housing Co-operative - Design Workshop

This part is what gets everyone excited... participating in the design of your future home! 

Program

This weekend focusses on one of the aspects that many are excited about: the design of Kyloring Housing Co-operative.  Together, the group will consider the Site Design, Common House, and the Private Houses.  

You will be working with architect Julie de Jong and her team from H+H Architects at this workshop.  It is your opportunity, as a future residents, to truly participate in the design process.

• What common facilities would you like the community to offer? 
• What do you need in your individual private homes?  
  

Expect a highly interactive workshop with loads of fun. 

Note that registrations are open to anyone who has attended the Getting it Built Workshop on 16 & 17 October OR has registered as an Explorer with Kyloring Housing Co-operative. This ensures everyone is up to speed and ready to rock and roll.  

About your hosts

This full-weekend workshop is hosted by Co-operation Housing and will be facilitated by Gina Price from The Sociocracy Consulting Group and Julie de Jong from H+H Architects.  

Co-operation Housing is the umbrella organisation for housing co-operatives in Western Australia. The organisation was established in 2010 to support and grow Western Australia’s housing co-operative sector. Our members are existing housing co-operatives. https://co-operationhousing.org.au/

Gina Price is certified as a consultant in the Sociocratic Circle Method and has been training communities for over 12 years. She is a founding member of The Sociocracy Consulting Group and has worked with businesses, communities and schools in Australia, and North and South America.
