Get ready for a night of swing, dancing, and big band music with KZFR and the Chico Swing Band!
Join us Saturday, October 3 at St. John’s Annex in Chico for an evening featuring the sounds of the 1930s, ’40s, and beyond. The Chico Swing Band is a 16-piece big band performing a lively mix of swing, bop, Latin, fast foxtrots, and more, recalling the music of Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, and the Dorseys.
Doors open at 6:00 PM, and the evening starts with swing dance lessons at 6:15 PM, so whether you already know your way around the dance floor or are giving swing dancing a try for the first time, come early and join in.
The Chico Swing Band takes the stage at 7:00 PM for a night of live music, dancing, and classic big band fun.
