La Folie is Australia’s premier national aerial arts competition, welcoming both domestic and international aerialists. Held annually, it features a wide variety of apparatuses such as aerial silks (tissu), hoop (lyra), trapeze, hammock, rope, chains, cube, and more  .

Operating as not for profit and independently from studios, La Folie ensures fair judging and equal opportunity for all competitors   . This makes it one of the most inclusive events in the aerial arts scene.
