La Gioia delle Donna Choir - Songs from Home

Le Gioie delle Donne (The Joys of the Women) Italian Choir is one of Fremantle's living treasures.

First established in 1988, Le Gioie delle Donne Choir are a passionate group of women who enjoy sharing their love of traditional Italian stories told in song.

The Choir's rich repertoire of traditional songs are drawn from all regions of Italy. They tell joyous stories of love, country life, the harvest, beautiful girls, the moon and the stars.  The Choir's repertoire also includes wartime songs sung by the partisans and songs of migration.

Join us at the Maritime Museum and immerse yourself in Italy's musical heritage.
