La primera, una severa profesora de canto quien recibe en su casa a Ramón, ya que este último desea mejorar su técnica vocal para cantar en la misa de su madre fallecida recientemente. A medida que la clase avanza, los dos personajes van develando detalles de su pasado, un pasado profundamente marcado por el shooting al bar Pulse. El significado real de ese shooting, las motivaciones del shooter y la alargada sombra de sus víctimas provocan un enfrentamiento entre Amelia y Ramón que les lleva a descubrir la verdad.
