La Hora del Vermut (The Vermouth Hour)
Event description
The last ten years have seen an explosion of new vermouths as younger generations rediscover “the vermouth hour” - the pre-lunch period when families in cities like Barcelona, Madrid and Valencia meet for an aperitif. We are going to explore Vermouth, it's styles, production at Oranje Tractor and tastings, paired with seasonal Tapas prepared by the exceptional Sophie Zalokar.
For this intimate event you will, upon arrival, be presented with an Elixyr Spritz – a refreshing, vibrant spritzer-style cocktail. You’ll then be seated to hear all about this exciting fortified, aromatised wine and enjoy samples to match the Tapas created from locally sourced produce. Sophie will discuss her approach to matching the variety of snacky textures and flavours tapas offer with the alchemy of Vermouth’s botanicals.
Ticket includes Elixyr Spritz on arrival, vermouth workshop and tastings and tapas to match.
