MICHAEL BANEL

Michael Banel's journey into electronic music began in the early 1990s, immersed in Copenhagen's underground party scene. W

hat started as a fascination with collecting vinyl records quickly evolved into a passion for DJing, spending countless hours behind the decks, shaping his sound and initial DJ career.

As the scene continued to grow, so did his ambitions. A chance meeting with fellow music enthusiast Emok sparked a creative partnership that would prove to be a defining moment.

Together they started to build a studio, shared a vision for pushing underground electronic music forward and laid the foundation for what would become Iboga Records.

At the same time, Michael was part of a crew organizing both small and large-scale warehouse and outdoor events, helping create a vibrant platform for the emerging electronic music community.

These experiences opened doors to an international network of artists, producers, and promoters, helping Iboga Records gain momentum from its very first releases.

What began as a label showcasing local talent soon expanded far beyond Copenhagen and quickly established itself as a home for groundbreaking artists from around the world.

Over the years, it grew into one of the most respected and influential independent labels in the underground electronic music scene, earning a reputation for consistently championing innovation and quality.

More than three decades later, Iboga Records remains as active and forward-thinking as ever.

Alongside its sister imprint, Ibogatech, the label continues to release a diverse spectrum of cutting-edge techno and psy-trance while Michael continues to perform internationally,

bringing his decades of experience and deep musical knowledge to clubs and festivals across the globe.

Today Michael Banel has sharpened his focus towards DJ'ing Psy/PeakTime Techno while establishing Ibogatech firmly within the same universe.

During 2014-2024 Michael Banel was part of the duo MVMB with Martin Vice, releasing two full-length albums as well as a string of singles, EP´s and compilations.

The project still today spawns new fresh interpretations from various prolific techno artists alike.

EEGOR

Richard Blacker aka EEGOR has held a passion for music since he was just 6 years old. From receiving classical training on the Violin, Viola, Guitar and Bass Guitar as well as studying music theory for 4 years in his primary school days, music has flowed through Eegor's mind, body and soul.

With three decades experience as a DJ and working on his own productions since 2007 unleashing a string of releases worldwide, Eegor has established himself a solid reputation in Australia and abroad for his take on deep driving progressive techno.

Whether it be day or night, at a Festival or in a Nightclub, Eegor has always curated his DJ sets and productions to compliment the environment that surrounds him at the time.

Throughout his career Eegor has represented Open Records(Australia), Bus Records(France) and is currently a label DJ and producer for the iconic European label Iboga Tech Records(Denmark).

Eegor has taken the stage numerous times at iconic Australian festivals such as Rainbow Serpent Festival, Elements Festival, Dragon Dreaming Festival, Subsonic Music Festival, Earth Frequency Festival, Maitreya Festival and NYX Festival as well as appearances abroad at Paradise Festival(Austria) and Megaclub appearances at the ‘Pratersauna’(Vienna, Austria), ‘Le Skandalo’(Bordeaux, France) and ‘Elevate’(India) just to name a few.

His current project ‘Eegor & Zark’ with his good friend and producer Cameron Anlezark, has scored some solid releases on IbogaTech Records, Digital Structures, Stone Seed (aka Bassic Records), Alpaka Muzic, Frission Records and Soliq Records thus far with many more big releases to come in the not too distant future...

ARRÓ

A true multi dimensional performer, Apró brings far more than music to the dance floor. With 12 years in her craft, and a childhood of classical dance and music training, she weaves together melodic, progressive, tribal and soulfully exotic sounds with an unmistakable energy that draws you straight in.

But the experience doesn’t stop behind the decks…DJ set, Live Clarinet, Silk Fan Flow, dance, movement & absolutely captivating performance art…what more can she do?!!!

Apró has graced stages and festivals including Earth Frequency, Elements, Splendour in the Grass, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Esoteric, Technical Dooficulties, Berry Juicy, Spring Campout & Initiation, as well as countless events and nightlife institutions across Australia.

Expect intricate beats, unexpected moments and a performance that engages far more than just your ears.

JUSTTIM

JUSTTIM is a Melbourne-born, Byron Shire-based DJ who's been a fixture of the region's underground dance scene since making the move north in 1998.

A three-deck specialist, he layers tracks live to build sets that don't just transition — they evolve, with the kind of relentless energy that keeps a dancefloor locked in.

His sound sits at the meeting point of progressive, psychedelic house and techno: hypnotic, propulsive, and unapologetically driven.

As co-founder of Kohlective — known for its uncompromising quadraphonic sound system — JUSTTIM is a vocal advocate for the principle that the music deserves to be heard properly.

There's nothing he loves more than watching a crowd sink into the moment.

THE HOODLUM BALLET

Unleashing a wild fusion of movement, mischief, and theatrical flair, The Hoodlum Ballet are a fierce and eclectic performance collective from the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers of NSW.

Part renegade ballerinas, part circus rebels, they deliver an intoxicating blend of dance, physical expression, and playful unpredictability, whether on stage or roaming the space.
