Labours of Love and Intergenerational Burnout
Event description
Join Poets, Manveen Kohli and Vuma Phiri, during this two-hour workshop on labours of love, stories of our ancestors, and interventional burnout. We will share stories that have been brewing for centuries and explore all the good and bad we carry: love, trauma, and resilience.
We will explore a range of literacy techniques, share our poems, and provide honest feedback to one another. This workshop is more than just poetry - it’s speaking on behalf of the warriors who raised us.
