Connecting teachers with laboratory industry practice

Following the success of this year's event, ReadCloudVET is pleased to once again partner with the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research to deliver an engaging, hands-on Professional Learning experience for Secondary School VET teachers.

Hosted within one of Australia's leading medical research facilities, this full-day workshop is designed for teachers delivering MSL30122 Certificate III in Laboratory Skills and MSL20122 Certificate II in Sampling and Measurement.

Working alongside experienced researchers and laboratory professionals, participants will explore contemporary laboratory practices, emerging technologies, workplace expectations and industry-relevant procedures. Through practical activities and real-world applications, teachers will strengthen their confidence in delivering laboratory-based training while maintaining industry currency.

The workshop focuses on safe and sustainable laboratory operations, best-practice teaching approaches and the skills students need to succeed in laboratory and scientific workplaces. It also provides a valuable opportunity to connect with industry experts and fellow educators, share ideas and gain insights that can be taken directly back into the classroom.

Places are limited and demand is expected to be high, so early registration is recommended.

Payment for this event can be made by credit card, or you can request an invoice for your accounts department by selecting "invoice" at checkout.
