Ladies & Juniors Game Fishing Open
Description
Fremantle Sailing Club presents the Ladies & Juniors Game Fishing Open, taking place across Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November 2026.
Open to the public and exclusively for ladies and juniors aged 15 and under, the two-day competition features GFAA Line Class and Open non-IGFA (general angling), with prizes across a range of pelagic species, including tuna, mackerel, samson fish, yellowtail kingfish, bonito, mahi-mahi, wahoo, cobia, marlin and swordfish.
Prize categories include Ladies, Junior Boys and Girls (11–15 years), and Small Fry Boys and Girls (under 11). Full prize details will be available at the competitor briefing.
The weekend kicks off with a Competitor Briefing on Friday 6 November from 6pm on the Sunset Deck, with a cash bar available.
Fishing commences at 7:00am on Saturday and Sunday, finishing at 6pm Saturday and 2pm Sunday.
Competitors will then return to Fremantle Sailing Club for the weigh-in and prize presentation from 2:30pm on Sunday, on the Sunset Deck.
The Ladies & Juniors Game Fishing Open is proudly supported by Pearls & Diamonds by Dana, contributing some special prizes for the event.
