Taisha is thrilled to partner once again with the Cambridge Town Hall, and she is especially looking forward to taking you on a journey through the music and lives of some of the greatest jazz, blues, and soul divas of all time. These fierce and unforgettable women—Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, who paved the way with their powerful voices and music.
Featuring Ben Gilgen on piano and special guests Whetu Silver, Leon Wharekura with a few duets, Paul Norman on trumpet, and Simon Brew on saxophone. Join us for an unforgettable walk down memory lane as we celebrate some of the most timeless songs.
