Occurring on the 33rd day after Pesach and 17 days before Shavuot, Lag Ba'Omer carries deep mystical significance. Rooted in the teachings of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, the main protagonist and central figure in the Zohar – the central Jewish mystical text – Lag Ba'Omer marks a moment of inner illumination along the spiritual journey that takes us from Pesach to Shavuot.

The evening will feature inspiring teachings from Rabbi Mordecai, alongside a soulful Hebrew musical kirtan -chanting circle- led by Nadav and Jessica Kahn, Rabbi Mordecai and other talented musicians. Come gather in song, spirit, and community as we explore this powerful time in our calendar together.
