Lakeside Triathle and Laser Run
Event description
NSW Modern Pentathlon invites you to try the sports of Triathle Laser-Run. Open for all ages and abilities, compete in your official distance, or enter as a novice for a shorter taste.
Running of events:
Crash course in Laser-Run starts the day for anyone who has not shot before to learn the basics on the day
Laser Run follows, and involves running to your shooting bay, after getting 5 hits on the target or 50seconds elapse, you immediately run again, coming in to shoot and repeat the cycle
Triathle ends the day, and adds swimming to the Laser Run. That is athletes to shoot, then swim, then run, then repeat.

- 10:00 - 11:00 Laser Shooting Crash Course (free to all competitors)
- 11:05 - 11:25 Laser Run Heat 1 - 600m/10m shooting competitors
- 11:35 - 11:45 Laser Run Heat 2 - 300m/5m shooting competitors
- 11:45 - 12:25 Lunch Break
- 12:30 - 13:00 Triathle Heat 1 - Longer Races
- 13:05 - 13:35 Triathle Heat 2 - Shorter Races
- 13:55 - 14:25 Presentation
- 14:30 - 15:00 Pack up
