WHERE: We're hosting this event at Paddington Uniting Church. Doors open at 6:30 pm for a prompt 7 pm start. The event concludes at 8:30 pm, after the book signing.

A memoir by the Lambros about pushing through life's hardest moments - when the body is exhausted, the mind is breaking, and nothing feels certain - and how to keep fighting when everything tells you to stop.

Stef and Lach Lamble never set out to become endurance athletes. They were two brothers from Melbourne who grew up around fear, violence and addiction, and spent years trying to escape the people they thought they were destined to become. Then cancer changed their family forever.

At 21 and 24, with no running background, they quit their jobs and decided to run 3400 kilometres across Australia to raise money for cancer research. Eighty-five days later, they crossed the finish line having raised $250,000 and becoming the first brothers to run across Australia.

But finishing the run across Australia didn't fix everything. What followed was one of the hardest periods of their lives: broken bodies, lost direction, failed projects, relentless online abuse and a near-fatal car crash that forced them to confront how close they had come to losing everything. At their lowest point, they had to decide whether to walk away or back themselves one more time. They chose to keep going, running 1625 kilometres across the United Kingdom.

One More Step is the honest story behind the finish lines - the childhood that shaped them, the people they met while running, the failures that changed their direction and the moments when stopping felt easier than continuing.

But this isn't just a story about running. It's about what to do when you're lost. When you fail. When you're scared. When life doesn't go to plan. And when the mountain in front of you feels too big to climb.

Lachlan and Stefan Lamble, also known as the 'Lambros', are two hard-working Aussie brothers from Melbourne. They are elite endurance athletes and content creators known for their dedication to conquering physical feats and raising awareness for cancer research. After the loss of their grandmother to cancer, the brothers made it their mission to raise funds and inspire others to support the fight against cancer. To date, they have raised over $375,000 for cancer research and have become symbols of resilience, determination and hope for a cancer-free world.
