    Lamington National Park - Guided Walks : Wed 7 Sep 2022

    Option 1 : Full day guided walk of Mt Hobwee Circuit (8am to 5pm)
    18.2km / 9 hour walk (grade 4)
    Walk with local guides to one of the higher peaks in Lamington. Wind up through rainforest filled with ferns, stream lilies and epiphytes to the Antarctic beech-clad summit of Mt Hobwee (1164m). Stop for a break at Darrayabroo lookout and drink in the amazing views along the McPherson Ranges
    $93 - BYO food & drinks
    $117 - includes morning & afternoon tea, homemade scroggin and packed lunch

    Option 2 : Half day guided walk of Daves Creek Circuit (9am to 2pm)

    12km / 5 hour walk (grade 4)

    The Daves Creek circuit is one of the most diverse walks in Lamington National Park. Over 12km, we pass through rainforest, open eucalypt and huge casuarina forests. We walk through a section of rare montane heath and stop at rock formations and lookouts with views into Numinbah valley and the higher mountains of Lamington National Park.

    $79 - includes morning tea, homemade scroggin and packed lunch


    Inclusions:

    • guidance by up to two local, experienced guides (1 guide / 8 guests)
    • $5-7 of your ticket price goes directly to Qld national parks for upkeep & improvement of the park

    Bring:

    • day pack with lunchbox & 2-3 L water
    • waterproof jacket
    • 2-3 layers of quick drying outdoor clothing
    • comfortable hiking boots or shoes (ankle protection advised)
