Celebrating Earth as the Mother of Abundance

Since ancient times people have known that the Earth is Mother who provides from her abundance for all life to survive.

We share gratitude and joy for the blessings of fruitful abundance we are enjoying at this time. Traditionally Lammas is the time of first harvest.

In Wurundjeri Country (South West Victoria), in Naarm (Melbourne), Australia it is Dry Season – time of traditional burning – that destroys but creates new opportunities.

In the North of Australia it ends the Wet Season and heralds the Dry.

Join us to celebrate and affirm the goodness of abundance, life and nurturing.

While we are in the midst of confronting Covid it is possible to overlook how incredible the world is.

Let us affirm our desire to promote our own and the Earth’s well-being.

Join us on Sun January 31, 2021 for a donation based, in person and online Solstice celebration at the Gaia Temple

Bring In person:
🥘 A plate of food to share for a solstice feast afterwards
🥽 A mask (we are taking Covid Safe precautions at the Temple in accordance with www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au)

Bring online:

A favourite object or food to remind you of the joy of life during the ritual.

🕯 You may choose to have a candle to light to signify for yourself that you are in sacred space.

Price: Donation on the door, Pay as you feel tickets, no woman turned away.

We hope this ritual will support us to enter 2021 with a renewed vigour that the specific offerings of Gaia's Garden, as a Women's only Goddess Group, is still very much needed in this country.

We shall continue listening to the voice of Goddess through the women who arrive in person at our venue the Gaia Temple, and online through Zoom and other avenues.

We shall continue to bring you safe spaces to express your spirituality and vulnerability in a held container of sisterhood and try and create even more opportunities to use technology to connect us all.
