    Event description

This is the story of how two jetpacks became part of the Canterbury Museum collection.

A pair of jetpacks made and invented in Christchurch by the Martin Aircraft Company were the first acquisitions made by Canterbury Museum Associate Curator Human History Frances Husband for the Museum.

She tells the story of how these extraordinary inventions came to be considered for the permanent collection and details their development and history.

This talk is hosted by the Friends of Canterbury Museum.
