Join Martin Royds from Jillamatong, Erin Healy from Mulloon Institute and Greater Sydney Local Land Services for a great workshop about rehydrating landscapes.
Event details:
Presented by Martin Royds from Jillamatong and Erin Healy from the Mulloon Institute, these hands-on workshops will introduce you to rehydrating landscapes and retaining more soil moisture on your land.
Key topics and practical exercises include:
overview of how water cycles through landscapes
identifying water-sensitive landscape features
options for landscape rehydration (contour banks, instream structures, soil organic matter, multispecies pastures, vegetation belts)
principles of natural sequence farming
boosting biodiversity, soil health and farm productivity
making regenerative farming practices pay off early.
Additional details:
Catering and refreshments will be provided.
