The Rocks Laneway Cinema

Amongst golden sandstone buildings and cobbled lanes on Playfair Street, you’ll find a giant screen surrounded by cosy bean bags and comfy deck chairs where you can watch your favourite movie under the stars each Wednesday night. Gates open at 5:30pm and the movie starts at 7.00pm.

Entry to The Rocks Laneway Cinema is free, but for the best seats in the house - be sure to register for your free ticket. If you miss out booking online there are a limited amount of walk-ups ticket available on the night!

Synopsis: In this live-action adaptation of the beloved children's tale by Dr. Seuss, the reclusive green Grinch (Jim Carrey) decides to ruin Christmas for the cheery citizens of Whoville. Reluctantly joined by his hapless dog, Max, the Grinch comes down from his mountaintop home and sneaks into town to swipe everything holiday-related from the Whos. However, the bitter grump finds a hitch in his plans when he encounters the endearing Cindy Lou Who (Taylor Momsen).
