Description

Have a love of languages? Interested in different cuisines? Just want to try something new? The School of Languages, Literature, Cultures & Linguistics (LLCL) invites you to our 2026 Language Week event: the Language Café.

This free event simulates fun, informal and beginner-friendly café conversations in various languages such as Italian, Japanese and Korean, with the additional bonus of serving cultural food and drinks. Explore different languages, celebrate cultural diversity and don’t miss out on the chance for some free food. If you want to be more involved in future LLCL activities, this is also a great opportunity to meet some of the student representatives from the LLCL Staff Student Liaison Forum.

Join us on Wednesday August 19th (Week 4) from 2-3pm in room 121, Learning &Teaching Building. All are welcome!
