Lantern-making workshop @ Southern Edge Arts
Description
Get ready to join Carrying the Fire on 7 November 2026 in Albany.
Join us in a workshop to create a lantern to carry at the event. Following simple designs and guided by our artists, you will create a beautiful lantern that can clip onto your mobile phone or a torch. Each lantern is inspired by our coastline and country. Bring your own creative flair as you create a lantern that represents a banksia, sea star, tidelines, kwornt (a traditional Menang shelter) or the native Moodjar (Christmas Tree) flower.
All materials provided and workshops are suitable for children and adults. Reserve your spot in one of our FREE workshops held at Southern Edge Arts at PCYC in Albany,
