Event description
Step into the stories at Lanyon Homestead and experience the landscape and history of Canberra before it became the nation’s capital. Discover the stories of the people who lived and worked here and be immersed in the colonial interiors of the 1850s homestead and outbuildings. Follow your tour with a stroll through the kitchen gardens or a coffee at the Barracks Café.
Please note due to current ACT Health advice, tours are limited to 8 people. All visitors MUST book a ticket, including children of all ages.
Concession: Seniors, National Trust Members, CMAG Members and children 6 and up.
Free: ONLY Children 5 years of age or under, ‘On the House’ ticket holders (must hand in the ticket on arrival) and carers accompanying a person with special needs/patient (ACT Companion Card).
