Tablao La Pinta Flamenca
Event description
Join us for an evening of thunderous footwork, dynamic singing and hypnotic Flamenco guitar, as PWAC founder, Carlos L Montufar, proudly presents Tablao la Pinta Flamenca! Rooted in Andalusian Roma (Gitano) of Southern Spain, Flamenco was declared one of the Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity, by UNESCO on November 16th. 2010. A tablao is an intimate setting for flamenco music and dance, comes from the word 'tabla' or 'tablado' meaning wood, which which stems from the wooden platform dancers do their footwork on. So much to learn, but we have your back!! PWAC coming at you, with the best flamenco in town! Learn more about our mission at phxworldarts.org.
