Lara Food & Wine Festival

Entry: 

Kids under 18 free. 

Adults 18 yo+ $10. Entry ticket gets you a chance at our Gate Prize Draw, including a $1,000 Travel Voucher from Geelong Travel and loads of gift vouchers to local restaurants.   

Food will feature yet again at the Lara Food and Wine Festival on Sunday 24 March 2024. Everyone is invited to come along to the festival and sample some of our region’s finest food and wine from over 70 exhibitors.

Exhibitors include boutique beer, cider and wine-makers, award winning cheese makers and vendors dishing up sensational savoury morsels and luscious desserts. 

Learn chef secrets from our Celebrity Chefs Gabriel Gaté and Simon Toohey.

Our all-day cooking stage will also feature local chefs mentoring The Gordon VET in Schools culinary students in a Master and Apprentice cook-off. Which team will create the winning mouth-watering morsels?

Relax and enjoy the entertainment on our all-day music stage featuring the cool tunes of the Reed Street Band, Wildflower Trio and the Lara Big Band. Kids can enter our Donut Eating Competition, decorate their own biscuit, pot a herb to take home, have their face painted or marvel at Dan the Magic Man.

Bring along a picnic rug, gather goodies from our stall holders and enjoy a leisurely lunch on the lawns of the magnificent Pirra Homestead.
