About the Artists:
LARS
LARS is a singer-songwriter and musician from Philadelphia. Their music is a deeply personal journey through the realms of self-discovery and acceptance. LARS weaves together melodic loops that serve as a backdrop for narratives exploring the intricacies of their experience as a black trans person. Through soulful compositions and genre-defying exploration, they invite listeners into a world where themes of identity, spirituality, and resilience intersect.

Medukha
“We bring poetry of dying stars and empires, ritual songs from nuclear reactive soil, time signatures that’ll impress your date, songs sung by people displaced, and some dance-in-your-seat moments…” The recipe for Medukha involves steeping the antics of a rock band in a pitcher of third culture confusion. Add polish and ukrainian folk melodies to taste.

Moriah Bailey in Acoustic Contact
Moriah Bailey is known for making in obscure spaces, often recognized as an exploratory songwriter and harpist. In recent years, Moriah Bailey’s project has transformed from a solo act into a full band — Moriah Bailey in Acoustic Contact — featuring Park on percussion and Nicholas Allen on double bass. Their music blends folk, indie experimental, post-rock, and grunge influences to breathe a different kind of life into Bailey’s songwriting. At times delicate and at times explosive, their approach demonstrates careful attention to push and pull, restraint and release.
