Laser Mythology: Perseus & Andromeda

Enjoy an all ages encounter with one of mythology’s most exciting stories… as a laser show! In Laser Legends of the Night Sky: Perseus & Andromeda, join the hero Perseus as he grows into a powerful warrior, encounters terrifying trials, and races to rescue Princess Andromeda from a sea monster. The story and characters are recreated on the dome through a dazzling display of multicolored laser animations in this retro production.

Following the laser show, our presenters will give a short sky talk to show you the locations of the constellations Perseus, Andromeda, and others in the night sky, as well as some amazing astronomical objects you can observe near them.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children. Most discounts do not apply for this special show. Members can contact Melissa.Mantz@njsmfoundation.org for member rate information. Tickets must be purchased in advance and shown at the door, either electronically or printed out.

Guests can park in the lot behind the museum and enter through the Planetarium lobby doors.

Note: Laser shows may contain flashing lights and rapidly changing images, affecting photosensitive viewers. Viewers with epilepsy should not attend.
