As the documentary unfolds, the gallery becomes Maud’s itself—alive with atmosphere, memory, and community—dissolving the distance between then and now.

While we’ll be evoking the feeling of the bar’s closing night in 1989, we encourage you to draw from any era during which Maud’s was open (1960s–1980s). Butch, femme, somewhere in between—lean into what feels authentic and fun for you. Vintage looks, leather, flannel, denim, button-downs, boots, softball jerseys, soft layers, shoulder pads, big hair… it’s all welcome.
